WHEELMARK, ürünün Denizcilik Ekipmanları Direktifi'nde belirtilen gerekliliklerini karşılaması durumunda ürüne iliştirilen uygunluk işaretidir.

23 Temmuz 2014 tarihinde, Avrupa Birliği (AB) tarafından, denizcilik ekipmanları ile ilgili yeni direktif 2014/90/AB (2014/90/EU) 18 Eylül 2016 tarihinden itibaren geçerli olmak üzere yayınlanarak, eski direktif 96/98/AT (96(98/EC) yürürlükten kaldırılmıştır.

16 Mart 2017 tarihinden itibaren de 2014/90 / AB sayılı direktifte değişiklik yapan 2017/306 sayılı Uygulama Regülasyonu yürürlüğe girmiştir.

Denizcilik ekipmanları belgelendirmesinde Wheelmark işareti kullanılmaktadır.

ÜRETİCİLER İÇİN ÖNEMLİ DEĞİŞİKLİKLER

  • Ürün markalama

    Uygunluk işareti, Onaylanmış Kuruluş numarası ve Wheelmark işaretinin iliştirildiği yılı içermelidir.

    Ayrıca, üreticiler ürünleri tanıma imkanı sağlayacak ürün tipi, parti veya seri numarası vb. unsurlar taşıdığından emin olmalıdır. Ek olarak, isimlerini, tescilli ticari unvanlarını veya tescilli ticari markalarını ve iletişim adreslerini ürün üzerinde belirtmelidirler.

  • Üreticiler teknik dokümantasyonu ve Uygunluk Beyanlarını (Declaration of Conformity) Wheel Mark işareti iliştirildikten sonra en az 10 yıl ve ürünün beklenen ömründen daha kısa olmayacak şekilde saklamalıdır.
  • Module B and G belgelendirmeleri için üretici risk analizi ve değerlendirmesi yapmalıdır.
  • Uygunluk Beyanlarını (Declaration of Conformity) 768/2008/AT (768/2008/EC) Sayılı Karar Annex III'te belirtilen formata göre hazırlamalıdır.

TERSANELER VE ARMATÖRLER İÇİN DEĞİŞİKLİKLER

  • Uygunluk Beyanlarının (Declaration of Conformity) AB bayraklı gemilerde bulunması gereklidir. Denizcilik ekipmanı AB bayraklı bir gemide bulunduğunda, ilgili ekipmanın Uygunluk Beyanı (Declaration of Conformity) gemiye sağlanmalı ve ekipman gemiden kaldırılana kadar gemide muhafaza edilmelidir.
